The Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly issued a message of thanks to frontline healthcare staff on St Patrick’s Day.
In a tweet the Minister for Health said: “This St. Patrick’s Day I want to say a huge thank you to all those across Ireland at work in healthcare today, keeping the country safe – in our hospitals, testing & tracing teams, vaccination teams, ambulance service, general practice, community care and so much more.”
The Health Minister’s message came after a further 557 new Covid-19 cases and 17 further deaths were reported on Wednesday.
