
Regarding incidents that occurred yesterday during protests in Dublin’s city centre, sixteen persons have been prosecuted, reports RTE.
In response to several public order disturbances in the capital, 22 persons were detained by the GardaÃ.
Eight women and fourteen males, ages twenty to sixty, were taken into custody; sixteen of them have subsequently been prosecuted, reports RTE.
Along with allegations of assault, criminal damage, and weapon possession, the charges mostly pertain to public order violations.
Three additional people are scheduled to appear before Dublin District Court this morning, in addition to the one man who has already been in court, reports RTE.
In the upcoming weeks, thirteen more people are expected to appear in court after being charged and freed.
The remaining people will be dealt with under the adult caution process, according to the GardaÃ, reports RTE.
