More Irish people face imminent homelessness as government lifts eviction ban and prepares new effort to entice people to house Ukrainians with tax free payments

More Irish families are facing imminent homelessness as the government lifts its eviction ban while at the same time preparing a new campaign to entice people to home Ukrainian refugees with tax free monthly payments under the ‘Offer a Home’ scheme.

There is already a record number of Irish people homeless with tens of thousands of more languishing on public housing lists or unable to buy their way into the squeezed private property market enveloped in a history bubble.

Prospects for renters is even worse and despite this unprecedented crisis the government shows no willingness to stop the mass importation of refugees and asylum seekers attacked to Ireland due to its open boarders, soft touch policies and generous welfare state.

At no point was such a Herculean effort to provide accommodation for Irish families ever considered by the government and now local authorities have been instructed to locate suitable sites for modular housing projects that will be paid for by Irish taxpayers but no Irish need apply for accommodation in.

At some point Irish people will be forced to decide whether they are resigned to become third class citizens in a country that will offer no future for their children or to rise up en masse and say no more.
