More people will die by suicide from lockdown than from Covid-19, university research claims

A research project at Australia’s Sydney University “predicted an additional 750 to 1,500 suicides per year for up to five years as a result of the impacts of the pandemic and economic shutdowns imposed to curb its spread,” according to the UK Telegraph.

This would mean that deaths from suicide due to the Covid-19 lockdown would far outweigh deaths from the Covid-19 vaccine itself.

The increase in suicides will be due to the social pressures, anxieties and deprivations imposed by the lockdown and the economic calamity it will bring about.

The researcher model also predicts around 30% of these suicides will be young people.

The scientific research supports the assertions of US President Donald Trump who warned that a prolonged lockdown will results in a spike in suicides.
