More than 600 patients are waiting for a bed in Irish hospitals




The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) reported that 607 admitted patients were awaiting beds, reports Breaking News.

The INMO Trolley Watch reported that 199 patients were waiting in wards at other hospitals, while 408 patients were waiting in emergency rooms.

At University Hospital Limerick, there were 97 admitted patients awaiting beds. While 52 people waited in other wards, 45 people waited in the emergency room, reports Breaking News.

69 individuals were on the waiting list at Cork University Hospital. Ten were waiting in other wards, while fifty-nine were waiting in the emergency room.

There were 37 patients waiting at Portiuncula Hospital, 42 at Sligo University Hospital, and 62 admitted patients waiting at University Hospital Galway, reports Breaking News.

Forty-two admitted patients at Tallaght University Hospital were awaiting beds.

There were 21 patients waiting for beds at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, 24 at Naas General Hospital, and 28 at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, reports Breaking News.
