Met Eireann is forecasting a miserable few days weather-wise before conditions improve later this week.
Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be wet and cold, with temperatures well below average for the time of year.
Temperatures will begin rising by Thursday, leading into a mild and sunny weekend with highs of 20-21C.
