Weather conditions are set to deteriorate over the next 48 hours, as Met Eireann predicts snow and sleet for Sunday night.
There will be widespread rain across the country on Sunday, but it’s likely to fall as snow across northern regions as temperatures drop to 0C.
The outlook is for drier, but cold weather during the first half of the coming week.
