French riot police have fired on Yellow Vest protesters with tear gas and baton rounds after a standoff in the Norman city of Rouen.

This Saturday marks the seventh consecutive week of Yellow Vest protests against embattled French President Emmanuel Macron and his pro-EU, globalist policies.

Hundreds of ‘Gilets Jaunes’ gathered in the historic and picturesque town in Normandy on Saturday morning before being met by zealous riot police. Meanwhile, a more peaceful yellow vest protest was conducted in Paris.

This Thursday however, violence erupted after dozens of protesters attempted to storm Macron’s personal castle on the Mediterranean coast, the refurbished fort of Bregancon, used by the Jupiterian leader as his Summer retreat.

Meanwhile in Ireland, the Yellow Vests movement temporarily shut down Dublin’s Port Tunnel on Saturday afternoon to the dismay of Leo Varadkar. You can read about it here.
