Nine-year-old Harvey Morrison Sherratt passed away after spending years awaiting scoliosis spinal surgery, reports Breaking News.
His mother, Gillian Sherratt, is being considered as a potential Sinn Féin candidate in the Dublin Central by-election scheduled for May.
Ms McDonald was speaking during the Open Community Boxing Session organised as part of the Save the Strand Pitch campaign in Dublin’s North East Inner City, reports Breaking News.
“Gillian is here this morning to support the community here along with others. Janice Boylan is here as well one of our local councillors,” she said, reports Breaking News.
“We’re here to support this camapign to maintain this pitch and yes, Gillian’s hat is in the ring, and the party processes are underway,” reports Breaking News.
