A motorcyclist has been seriously injured following a a hit and run incident in Dublin city centre, Gardai have revealed.
It is understood the man aged in his 20s sustained multiple injuries following the incident which occurred on Amiens Street last Thursday, May 9 at approximately 10.20pm.
Gardaí say the man was taken to the Mater Hospital as is still receiving treatment following the incident.
It is understood the man was stuck by a dark coloured saloon car which failed to stop at the scene.
