A man has died after a fatal crash in Co. Kildare last night.
The collision occurred at 9.30pm Friday night at Cush, on the Athy to Kildangan Road. The 61 year old driver collided with a ditch when his van was overturned and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was brought to the morgue at Naas General Hospital where a post mortem examination will be carried out today.
Diversions are in place in the area today to facilitate forensic collision examinations.

A serious traffic accident also occurred in Galway late last night when 2 cars collided at Kilgarve, Creagh, Ballinasloe.
One driver was taken to Portiuncla Hospital in Ballinasloe with very serious injuries, the other driver is reported to be uninjured.
A section of the Ballinasloe to Athlone Road is closed due to the accident.
