In wretched scenes reminiscing of war-torn third world countries, six pregnant women were recently seen sleeping rough in Dublin.
As the homelessness and housing crisis deepens, and while TDs and co. enjoy fine dining using imported porcelain with a heavy price tag, pregnant females are forced to sleep in the streets of this supposedly “civilized” and democratic country.
The Inner City Helping the Homeless (ICHH) charity team found the women scattered all over Dublin during their nightly food and clothing runs. In total, the team encountered 101 people sleeping rough.
A spokesman for the team said that “It’s beyond comprehension that a woman would be allowed to sleep rough when she is carrying a child.”
