My country let me down – Incredibly brave lady Mary Manning told of the horror of her monster stepfather

Arguably the bravest lady to ever be interviewed on the Late Late Show, Mary Manning spoke about her horrendous ordeal of being raped and held hostage by her evil stepfather.

Mary said her life changed when her beloved biological father died and her mother quickly remarried and evil animal.

She told about how her stepfather groomed her and eventually raped her and fathered six of her children.

Thankfully she eventually escaped the brutality and married a gentleman to whom she went on to have more children that consolidated with her six other kids to make a proper family.

Two of her beautiful daughters, Iseult and Aisling were at her side during the interview and spoke about how brave their mother is and how much she is loved.

Brave Mary said that the State completely let her down and that they want a proper inquiry into why social services did absolutely nothing to help her.

Mary’s book is available and by all accounts is a harrowing but interesting read called “Nobody will believe you”.

Thankfully, today Mary is a successful psychotherapist and enjoys life to the full with her family.
