New year, same old story.
The Dáil will reconvene today, after a lengthy and leisurely Christmas break, and top on the order of business is drawing up finely tuned new laws to provide Irish Water with a healthy assortment of ways in which they can dog people for money.
Also on the agenda, new laws to reform Ireland’s regime of adoption and guardianship, ahead of a referendum on same-sex marriage in May.
