The AstraZeneca vaccine can now be used in the over 70s it has been revealed.
According to RTE News, The National Immunisation Advisory Committee have issued new advice that reccomend that the vaccine can be used in the over 70s.
The news comes after it was previously advised that the vaccine should not be used for people in that group.
In a move that could potentially change the vaccine roll-out, those who haven’t received a vaccine in that cohort could potentially be given the vaccine as well as the Pfizer and BioNtech vaccine as well as the Morderna vaccine.
