New study into vaping concludes that the practice significantly increases the risk of lung disease

A new study into vaping has concluded that the practice significantly increases the risk of lung disease.

The study, carried out by researchers from the University of San Francisco, analyzed data collected from 32,000 adults between 2013 and 2016. The results clearly show that vaping is a contributing factor for severe respiratory disease, irrespective of whether or not the individual also uses ‘traditional’ cigarettes.

Researchers found that ‘dual use’ -vaping and normal cigarettes- is far more harmful than the use of one or another.

Vaping has been linked to severe pulmonary disease in the United States in recent times.
