Wow, National Geographic has just named Dublin as one of the top cities in the World to enjoy Vegan food.
They give Dublin Fourth place beaten only by Thailand’s Bangkok in third place, India’s Bengaluru in second and the winning first place going to Warsaw in Poland.
According to National Geographic “(Dublin) Ranked among the most vegan-friendly cities in the world, it eschews light, California-style dishes for the kind of food that will warm you on a walk along the River Liffey.”
Vegan bakery Buttercream Dream and Sova Vegan Butcher get a special shout out and National Geographic list the vegan set menu at The Merrion Hotel Dublin, showcasing locally grown fruit and veg (€39/£34.70) as a “must try”.
