Vodafone Ireland have confirmed that they have identified the problem that caused disruption for a number customers yesterday, and say normal service should be resumed this morning.
The company has said a power outage was caused which led to a fault which caused ‘intermittent’ voice and data issues for some customers.
In a statement, released last night the company said: “Some Vodafone customers experienced intermittent voice and data issues earlier today. The root cause has been identified, a fix has been put in place and power is being restored.”
“Customers’ full service should resume over the next few hours. Vodafone apologises for any inconvenience caused.”
