Northern Ireland man Mo Robinson remanded in custody until November 25th court hearing

Essex police have stated that they’re slowly piecing together what exactly happened last week when a lorry carrying 39 dead people arrived in the UK.

Mo Robinson, the Northern Ireland man who was driving the truck inside which 39 people lost their lives, appeared in court via video link on Monday.

The 25-yr-old is facing a number of charges, including manslaughter, conspiracy to traffic people, conspiracy to assist unlawful immigration, and money laundering.

It’s understood that Mr. Robinson has been remanded in custody until November 25, when he will issue a plea. It’s been reported locally that he could receive a lengthy prison sentence if convicted.

Three other people have been arrested in connection with the Essex tragedy.
