Norway has confirmed it will supply Ukraine with two new NASAMS air defence systems.
The United States had already provided Ukraine with two NASAMS units last year, which brings Ukraine’s arsenal of this particular weapons platform to four.
NASAMS is a ground-based defence system capable of shooting down unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), helicopters, cruise missiles, unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs), and fixed wing aircraft at short and medium ranges.
