The proposed new TV licence aka the new version of Irish Water has been very negatively received by the public.
The proposed TV laptop licence fee is going to drag the government through the gutter yet again and the people aren’t going to stand for it.
Already mooted is a privatization of the licence fee collection and even worse a possible doubling of the €160 to an astronomical €320.
RTE, the State broadcaster is going to punish the Irish public by subsidizing its costs with the help of the Minister of by pushing through a new TV/laptop/mobile phone licence fee.
Already people have declared they’ll protest and are willing to take to the streets again if necessary.
