She’s been one of the most talked about people in Irish society in 2019 but it appears that ISIS bride Lisa Smith will also be one of the most talked about in 2020 as she’ll be entering the new year from a jail cell in a Limerick prison.

The ISIS Bride Lisa Smith has been remanded in custody in Limerick Prison for a further four weeks, and she’s reportedly been told that she will spend Christmas in jail.

Ms. Smith, who was detained at Dublin Airport after being deported from Turkey, stands accused of belonging to a terrorist organisation.

It’s understood that Ms. Smith was moved from Mountjoy to Limerick for her own safety.

Authorities are said to be preparing a book of evidence against her. If convicted of terrorism charges, she may face up to 10 years in jail.
