It’s getting cold today and even colder tomorrow, Saturday according to Met Eireann.
However, it’s Sunday that looks like the worst of the weekend by a long shot as raw, frosty and possibly even snowy weather is on its way.
The national weather forecaster says that parts of Ireland will be waking up to blanket of white on Sunday morning.
Rain will turn to sleet and possibly snow on Saturday night with strong winds as temperatures are set to plunge to -3C.
According to the Mirror, Met Eireann forecaster said: “Feeling raw this weekend; bright sunshine but wintry falls in places too. Very frosty at times also, with some icy stretches.
“Saturday will be very cold with an added wind factor, owing to brisk westerly winds.
If snow does fall, it’ll be across parts of the west and the north midlands. What are the odds on a white Christmas?
