One fatality has been confirmed following a collision between a car and a truck in Co. Clare.
The incident happened at around 4pm on the R487 road between Kilbaha and Kilkee on the Loop Head peninsula.
The deceased was a female in her 80s, who was driving the car. The truck driver was not injured.
