One of the biggest department stores Brown Thomas is reportedly set to hire up to 500 employees for the hectic Christmas period.
It is believed that a variety of temporary positions will be available this coming November/December. The 500 successful applicants will start work possibly in late November and work throughout December, the successful applicants will also work on weekends, Christmas Eve, St Stephen’s Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The roles on offer apparently include Sales Consultants, Sales Support, Cashiers and Store Ambassadors.
The news was revealed by the company’s Managing Director Stephen Sealey, Brown Thomas earlier this afternoon, Mr Sealey said: “We are looking for energetic people to work across all parts of the business. “Our Seasonal Team are tasked with creating an extraordinary experience for our customers during our busiest time of year. “In addition to the highly competitive salary and the chance to add Brown Thomas to your CV this is a fantastic opportunity to see how the country’s leading retailer works and to gain experience working with some of the world’s best brands.
