Organisers of yesterday’s cost of living protest say that they’re going to hold further protests as the weeks and months go on regardless of what’s in this week’s budget.
Thousands of people turned out in Dublin’s city centre on Saturday to voice their concerns over the disgraceful cost of living crisis.
A large cost of living protest is currently underway in the capital, with thousands of people in attendance.
Protesters gathered at Parnell Sq. at around 2.30pm, and made their way towards Leinster House.
The event was organised by the ‘Cost of Living Coalition,’ which aims to highlight the intolerable rise in costs for essentials such as electricity and gas, among many other things.
