It’s June and we’re meant to be walking around in shorts and t-shirts not raincoats and brollies, but maybe that will change soon.
There’ s fresh hopes that summer 2019 might be making an appearance, even if it is better late than never.
Met Eireann has said that temperatures will rise significantly next week, reaching 20-21C at times. The week will begin rather wet though, with widespread rain, heavy at times on Monday.
Things will start improving somewhat on Tuesday, with less in the way of rain and temperatures rising to about 19C.
Wednesday looks set to be a bright day with just a few scattered showers and mild weather.
