Over half of the Irish people would take a Covid-19 vaccine if one were to be produced in the near future.
According to a poll carried out by the Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association, 55% of respondents said they would take a vaccine should one become available.
The latest findings showed that older people were more likely to take the vaccine, whilst younger people wouldn’t take the vaccine.
Figures show three fifths of men said they would take the vaccine, whilst just over half of women said they would take it.
However those aged between 18- 24 and 25 to 35 were less likely to take the vaccine with 18% and 19% saying they wouldn’t take a vaccine.
