A lorry overturned on the eastbound lane of the M6 motorway earlier this afternoon, forcing its closure.
The incident occurred between junctions 13 and 14, between Ballinasloe and Athlone. Locals diversions are in place.
According to sources, the eastbound lane should be opened again by 8pm this evening.
