Padraig Duggan, one of the founding members of the Celtic music band Clannad, has sadly passed away at the age of 67.
According to Mr. Duggan’s niece, singer Moya Brennan, the musician passed away peacefully this morning.
Clannad was founded by Padraig and his twin brother Noel back in the 70s. The band also included Moya, Ciaran and Pol Brennan.
A new Clannad album, named Nádúr, is scheduled for release in September. This is the band’s newest material since 1998.
