Authorities at University Hospital Limerick (UHL) have advised people to avoid attending the facility’s A&E Department, unless it’s a life or death situation or a dire emergency at the very least.
UHL regularly tops the overcrowding list nationwide, and things have started out badly this week, as a total of 250 people attended the A&E Department from 8am on Monday to 8am on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Dáil remains closed and politicians are still enjoying their generous summer holidays.
