There’s been uproar on social media over the past 24 hours after various images emerged showing large numbers of people flaunting the current lockdown measures and not remotely “social distancing” from each other.
The government have said that current measures may need to be looked at in the coming days as to whether they need adjusting.
Meanwhile An Gardai have been given stern powers that can see people arrested, fined or possibly even jailed if they breach the current restrictions.
