As winter sets in around Europe, life for illegal immigrants seeking a new life in Europe takes a turn for the worst.
Adding to the woes of illegal immigrants, Poland has announced that is commencing construction of a Border Wall on its border with Belarus to block illegal immigrants, mostly from the Middle East.

The 5.5m (18ft) wall will cost €353 million to construct reports BBC. The wall will be equipped with motion sensors and a monitoring system and will cover about half the length of Poland’s 400km (250 mile) border with Belarus. The government plans to build it by next summer.

Poland says there are currently about 500 people are trying to cross into their country illegally from Belarus every day.
There were just 120 illegal immigrants from Belarus recorded in the whole of 2020.
