Police in Malaysia have confirmed that they are treating the death of an Irishman living on the island of Penang, as murder.

The investigation comes after the man named as Brian Patrick O’Reilly, was found dead on Monday.
It is understood that Mr O’Reilly was working at a marketing company.
Meanwhile the Department of Foreign Affairs have confirmed that they have been made aware of the incident and they will provide consular assistance Mr O’Reilly’s family if needed.
