Police in central London are looking into a rape. They have released CCTV video of a man they would want to talk with, reports Sky.
According to the Metropolitan Police, on December 19, 2023, between 9 and 11.30 p.m., a lady was wandering close to the Tottenham Court Road underground station when she was picked up by an unidentified male in a car.
After the automobile stopped in Long Acre WC2, the victim was allegedly raped after being taken about central London, reports Sky.
Detectives in Westminster began looking into the event after she reported it to the police.
The police have published CCTV video of a man they wish to talk with regarding the incident.
“We have been working around the clock to gather as much evidence as we can about the suspect and inquiries are ongoing. We are releasing this image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with the investigation. He is described as a fair-skinned black man with short hair and freckles,” said Detective Constable Adam Ramsden, reports Sky.
