Police in the UK have released the image of a baby that was found abandoned in an East London, park on Thursday night.
The release of the image comes after the baby girl who has been named Roman by nurses was found by a woman who was walking her dog with her children, in Newham.
Police investigating the incident say the baby who was found wrapped in a white towel is in stable condition in hospital.
They also say they are deeply concerned for the mother’s welfare as she may need medical attention.
It is understood the baby girl was found near a park bench inside a plastic bag.
Officers investigating the case say no attempt was made to hide her and they have appealed for the baby’s mother to come forward and contact them.
The discovery which was made at 10:15pm on Thursday, came as the English capital experienced heavy snowfall and plummeting temperatures.
