After the Chicago Police Union called for a full federal investigation into Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx’s handling of actor Jussie Smollett’s hate crime hoax case President Trump has ordered the FBI and Department of Justice.
President Trump tweeted on Thursday
“FBI & DOJ to review the outrageous Jussie Smollett case in Chicago,” – “It is an embarrassment to our Nation!”
Smollett alleged that he was set upon by two white, MAGA hat wearing men at 2 AM in the morning who just so happened to be lying in wait for him at that time of the morning in -10 degrees Celsius weather who also poured bleach on him put a rope around his neck.
Police quickly determined the actor was lying and arrested two Nigerian actors known to the Empire star who explained that they were paid to fake the assault to help the actor gain notoriety and possibly a pay rise.
It has also been speculated that Smollett, a close friend of the Obama’s and outspoken liberal anti-Trump celebrity, was hoping to stir up hatred against President Trump’s supporters and white people in general.
Leaked text messages and emails show that Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx was in contact with Tina Tchen former First Lady Michelle Obama’s Chief of Staff who intervened on behalf of Smollett.
Smollett being gay, black and anti-Trump has enjoyed the unwavering support of the US and international mainstream media, Hollywood and it appears some other very influential people.
