US President Donald Trump has said he does not want his supporters to confront the violent Black Lives Matter and Antifa rioters rampaging and looting in numerous American cities but has also defended the actions of teenager Kyle Rittenhouse who shot three thugs in self-defence.
President Trump was asked at a White House press conference if he defended the actions of “vigilantes” like Rittenhouse, he said the teenager was “violently attacked,” suggesting he acted in self-defence.
“That was an interesting situation. You saw the same tape as I saw, and he was trying to get away from them, I guess, it looks like, and he fell and then they very violently attacked him and it was something we’re looking at right now and it’s under investigation,” Trump said.
“I guess he was in very big trouble. He probably would have been killed,” he added.
One of the violent rioters allegedly shot dead during unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin by teenager Kyle Rittenhouse was a convicted paedophile it has been revealed.
Rittenhouse had travelled 10 miles to Kenosha from his home in Illinois with a group of concerned citizens to protect businesses that were being looted and burned by violent Black Lives Matter militants and other leftist groups.
Footage shows the 17-year-old was attacked by a group of thugs and after being chased was knocked to the ground and set up, the paedophile hit the minor over the head with his skateboard before he shot three of his assailants with his AR-15, all of whom had lengthy criminal records.
Two of the attackers died while another, who was himself armed with a pistol, was wounded.
Rittenhouse has since been charged with murder.
Commentators on social media have been quick to point out the irony that a convicted paedophile Joseph Rosenbaum (36) who was jailed for 12 years for sexual misconduct with minor, where he racked up 42 disciplinary infractions, had his life ended by a minor during another violent assault.
Meanwhile, a groundswell of support, both morally and financially, for Rittenhouse and his family has swept the United States and beyond with people arguing that the teenager was left with no choice but to shoot his rabid attackers as the footage of the incident shows.
