An Post have confirmed that they are set to introduce a number of price increases this year.
In an announcement made today, the national postal service said that a 5.9% increase will be placed on large envelopes, packets and parcels.
Meanwhile the price of an international stamp will also increase by 7%, with prices now ranging between €1.50 and €1.75.
Although An Post say some increases will be introduced, they have reiterated that the price of an average stamp will remain at €1.
The company also confirmed that no price increases will be introduced for people who use their large volume service.
