A product recall has been issued for Brennans Family Pan 800g, with a best before date of May 20/16, and with a Code 18. It is believed that pieces of laminated paper may have accidentally got into the packaging.
The company has confirmed that the batches affected have been removed from the shelves, but any customer who may have purchased one beforehand is offered a full refund.
Consumers may return the item to their local retailer, or alternatively the empty packaging with their name and address to: Joseph Brennan Bakeries, Greenhills Industrial Estate, Walkinstown, Dublin 12.
