The Extinction Rebellion group have warned that it will use drones to ‘shut down Heathrow Airport’ during the summer.
The organization was formed to protest against climate change, and particularly to oppose the planned expansion of Heathrow Airport.
According to the group, adding a third runway to the already busy airport would turn the Heathrow facility into the single biggest emitter of carbon pollutants in the UK.
