It’s understood that the pandemic unemployment payment is expected to go back up to the full payment of €350 for those who’ve lost their jobs due to the latest restrictions being imposed on the Irish people.
The government has said that people who’ve lost their jobs as a result of the horrendous new restrictions that have been foisted on the Irish public yet again will be able to apply for the PUP even if they hadn’t been on it during one of the other lockdowns.
Many people feel that it’s highly unfair to decimate the economy at one of the busiest times of the year when people want to be out and about being able to spend their hard earned cash.
