A 16-weeks-old puppy reportedly died during Halloween after fireworks caused him to have a heart attack.
The incident happened in Wombwell, near Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
The puppy, a small terrier named Molly, was in extreme distress over the fireworks set off nearby and eventually died of heart failure.
There are now calls for further regulation on the sale and utilization of fireworks across the UK.
