Questionable penalty puts England into Euro 2020 final

England have reached their first major final in 55 years after an extra time win over Denmark.

In a game that had plenty of action, it was England who booked their place in Sunday’s final against Italy with a 2-1 win over the Danes.

England who needed 120 minutes to get past Danes booked their place after Harry Kane scored on the rebound from his penalty despite Kasper Schmeichel’s save.

However the Extra Time penalty will many question marks especially with the Danes as Sterling appeared to go down rather easily with minimal if any contact.

England who will now play Italy were given a scare early on as Damsgard put the Danes in front with a superb free kick.

However the Danes lead didn’t last long as England were level with a Danish own goal ten minutes later.

The game was forced into extra time despite England pressure through the remaining 60 minutes of the 90.
