Ray D’Arcy makes around €9,000 a week – something that literally makes many people sick to their stomach.
The RTE presenter has a Saturday night show and afternoon radio show, and for that – he gets around €1,285 a DAY or roughly €53 an HOUR, every hour of the day, every day of the week, every week of the year!
In the time it takes you to read this article, D’Arcy will have stuffed his pockets with a few more euro – propped up by the taxpayer, whether they like it or not!
The absolutely outrageously enormous salary is under scrutiny after RTE chiefs announced that they can no longer continue running the obviously out-of-control loss-making national broadcaster at its current figures.
Over the past decade, it’s down a staggering €100 million euro, no really!
Now D’Arcy is allegedly in talks to slightly reduce his gigantic salary with a source saying that he will go to a paltry €440,000, a deduction of €10,000 euro – which is more than those on social welfare make all year.
