It has been good weekend for fans of superhero and comic book movies as the final part of Marvel’s 11 year arc, The Avengers Endgame was released in cinemas across the globe.
But for Marvel and Disney it was a great weekend as the follow up to last year’s Avengers Infinity War smashed Box Office records by raking in a whopping $1.2bn in its opening five days.
The hall has now made the movie the fastest ever to break the $1bn mark.
In a strong weekend the 22nd film in the Marvel franchise took in a total of $350m in the US alone, whilst it took in a staggering $330m in China.
The movie which has a whole stars has recieved strong reviews as critics have praised the final part The Avengers series.
Although Marvel is expected to make many more movies in years to come fans have flocked to theatres in their drives to see how the team of superheros defeat Thanos and undo his snap which wiped out half of all life on earth.
