Gardai are today issuing a fresh appeal for the parents of the baby found abandoned in Dublin to come forward.
The newborn was found wrapped in a blanket and a black plastic bag in Rathcoole, Dublin, a week ago today. She had been fed and nourished at the time.
The baby was named “Maria” and is being looked after by staff at the Coombe hospital, where she is said to be doing well.
