Users of the Revolut card app have been warned to be vigilant after increased reports of scam attempts involving the popular mobile payment solution.
The attempted scams involve someone asking to take control of the user’s smartphone to ‘fix issues with the Revolut app.’ If the scammers gain access to the phone, this usually results in financial loss.
As a general rule, never allow anyone to remotely access your smartphone or other smart devices, as 99% of the time is a scam attempt.
