
The surge of road deaths continues today, as Gardai have confirmed that a 70-year-old man has died after being involved in a two-vehicle crash in Limerick.
The incident happened on the Condell Road, Limerick, early this morning.
The 70-year-old man, who was the sole occupant of one of the cars involved, was rushed to hospital but sadly passed away a short time later.
The occupant of the other car did not sustain any injuries.
