The tragic trend of road deaths continues, following the death of two motorists in separate accidents overnight.
A man in his 30s died in a single-car crash in Carraroe, Co. Galway, shortly after 3am.
Separately, a 25-year-old man died shortly after being involved in another single-vehicle crash near Rosslare, Co. Wexford.
Three other people involved in these crashes, and another accident on the N14 near the village of Castledooey, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
